2010 Holiday Pint Fling

The Striper Surf Club would like to thank everyone who attended the end of the season "2010 Point Lookout Holiday Pint Fling" held at Alice's / Capt. Joe's Anchor Inn, December 3, 2010.  The 2010 Point Lookout Holiday Pint Fling was a big success. The NY surf fishing community helped raise several hundred dollars for the The Life Church of Westbury needy community projects.

We would also like to thank all those surfcasters and friends who came out and brought a toy or two for the LIBBA Operation Holiday Spirit.
Many other sponsors of the Pint Fling include: Rob Greco of The Long Island Outdoorsman located on Sunrise Highway in Rockville Centre, Zeno Hromin for his photo donations, Willie Young of the Montauk Surfcaster Association, LIBBA, Predrag Radovanovic, Steve and Don Musso of Super Strike Lures, Nina's Deli of East Meadow, Bryce Poyer of White Water Outfitters, Bill Wetzel of www.longislandsurffishing.com,  members of the Striper Surf Club. If I left anyone out please let me know. And to “Bayside” Arty Campbell and his wife for their generous donation of a dozen blue frog bucktails.

Once again the Striper Surf Club had great weather for it's 4th Annual Pig Roast hosted by club President John Citarella and his lovely wife Maria.  The day's events were hardly "Boar-ing"

We also like to thank our great chef of the future past club President Tom Cassino for spending the entire day cooking this mighty beast.
