2008 Point Lookout Holiday Pint Fling

The Striper Surf Club would like to thank everyone who attended the end of the season "2008 Point Lookout Holiday Pint Fling" held at Alice's / Capt. Joe's Anchor Inn, December 5, 2008.  Once again local surf rats came through and donated much need toys for LIBBA's "Operation Holiday Spirit."  The Striper Surf Club was able to raise enough money after food expenses from the $5.00 admission fee and 50/50 raffle for our charitable and worthwhile causes.  This money will be used to help feed several families during the holidays through the Causeway Deli of Wantagh.  As well as supporting  our "Good and Welfare Committee" for annual donations to LIBBA, our Annual Beach Clean Up and Beach Access activities, etc. Without these contributions it would be difficult to continue helping those less fortunate than us.  As always you folks are truly the best in town!

Also we would like to say thank you to Mordy Miltz of West End bait &Tackle for his donated plugs and great deal on the Aqua Skinz plug bags, John Niedzielski of JN-Ski for his newly designed plugs for our raffle, Armand of Rhode Island Poppers for his donated hand crafted plugs, Zeno Hromin for his great surfcaster in Montauk photo, Willy Young's donation of an MSA sweatshirt, Northport Rod & Reel plug donations, Steve Musso of Super Strike Lures, Mike Johnston donation of Great South Bay Bucktails as well as our other sponsors, St. Croix, Uncle Josh, and our members of the Striper Surf Club.  If I have left anyone out please forgive us and let us know.

Have a Happy & Safe Holiday Season.

2007 Point Lookout Holiday Pint Fling

Another Great Success! The Striper Surf Club would like to thank everyone who attended the end of the season "2007 Point Lookout Holiday Pint Fling" held at Alice's & Capt. Joe's Anchor Inn, December 14, 2007.  This year the local surf rats came through and donated much need toys for LIBBA's "Operation Holiday Spirit."  The Striper Surf Club was able to raise enough money after food expenses from the $5.00 admission fee and 50/50 raffle for our charitable and worthwhile causes.  This money will be used to help feed several families during the holidays through the Causeway Deli of Wantagh.  As well as supporting  our "Good and Welfare Committee" for annual donations to LIBBA, Send- a- Kid Fishing, our Annual Beach Clean Up and Beach Access activities, etc. Without these contributions it would be difficult to continue helping those less fortunate than us.  You folks are truly the best!

ONCE again for the second Year in a row Mid-Island Surfcaster Leslie Burleigh wins $255 at the Pint Fling 50/50 raffle!! We  like to thank  Leslie for donating back to our fund $55.00 as a generous donation!  Also we would like to say thank you to Mordy Miltz of West End bait &Tackle for his donated plugs, JN-Ski for his newly designed plugs for our raffle, Armand of Rhode Island Poppers for his donated hand crafted plugs as well as our other sponsors, Van Staal, Lamiglas, St. Croix, Uncle Josh, Old Harbor Outfitters, and our members of the Striper Surf Club.  If I have left anyone out please forgive us and let us know.
